A demonstration of Perforce is a great introduction to the system. We invite you to attend a live technical presentation to see Perforce in use performing standard SCM operations. While each demo is tailored to your requirements, a typical agenda is as follows:

Why a free download?

We believe no company should purchase an SCM system without trying it out first, so Perforce is available for evaluation from our download pages.

The unlicensed server supports two users with five client workspaces and does not expire. If you need more than 2 users or 5 workspaces for your testing, we can provide you with an evaluation license (PDF) good for 45 days for any number of users and unlimited workspaces.

Both versions include full technical support while you evaluate. All user documentation is available from our web site. You are welcome to try all our clients, IDE integrations, plug-ins, and conversion scripts. There is no risk to your current files and we can supply sample data if needed.
